Like all the best things in life, Katey was not planned. Faith brought her here. She comes out of the most precious therapy lines, with her father Dream Companions Oliver being the product of superior linebreeding on Rutlands Kelby. 'Kelby's progeny all bear the hallmarks of their illustrious sire, in intuition beyond logical explanation, magnificence in stature and their gentle loving natures.' www.rutlandmanor.com. Mother of Oliver is Rutlands Seanna, donated in 2015 to Dreamcompanions Australian Cobberdogs, to breed Medical Alert and Assistance Dogs. At mother's side, the sire is the result of a daughter of Rutlands Kelby, mated to thé Redd Baron. Katey's maternal grandmother is an ALD outcross with Tegan Park and some nice standard red ancestors in her lines, working as therapy dogs.
To make a long story short: it is no coincidence that Katey excels in both exterior and working abilities. She is bred to perform and she will hopefully give us a head start in breeding assistance dogs. Katey will have her first litter in spring 2021.
Katey already started her training as a therapy dog. She will be the first puppy in our 'Superdog' program. More information soon!

Katey's dad, Oliver, is without a doubt one of Europe's finest studs. I've been wishing one of his offspring for 2 years, and now the time has come...
The Australian Cobberdog is a breed in development, which makes it extra important to breed selectively.
Not every puppy is equal in quality and not every breeding prospect develops into a perfect breeding bitch or stud.
We pick our future breeders with care and critically test them against our breeding standards.
Katey is such a social and brave puppy; well balanced!
Katey has a straight fleece coat, exactly as the breed standard wishes!
Katey will be a BIG girl! Still a bit narrow right now, but we wait and see.
If you meet Katey, you love Katey! She is a doll and very affectionate.
We will 'revalue' Katey once she's full-grown, standard size.
She is very promising and a SUPER exciting addition to our foundation stock!
